MY Story
When the pandemic hit in 2020 I was working as a restaurant manager in sunny West Palm Beach, Florida. I started helping out with their marketing and advertising to stay busy when the world was shut down and something clicked. It felt so satisfying and effortless to do something not only that I loved, but had the talent and education for. This is what I had always wanted. I hid behind my computer, learned as much as I could, and in less than a year, I had a decent sized portfolio and was interviewing for a full-time graphic design positions. In September 2020, I was hired at Svelte Media Inc. In October of the same year I created my LLC, Lizz Lee Studio, while working full-time at Svelte and continued to take freelance clients on the side. Fast forward to August 2021, I left my full-time job to work solely for my own company. I never expected to change my life so quickly but when the momentum started I didn't let it stop.
I'm currently working out of an office in a beautiful co-working space in downtown West Palm Beach called 1909.
I have been involved with the launch of a new startup called ShowUp. I designed their preview screens for the app store, their email campaign, and their onboarding flow. I've been gathering clients that include a digital marketing company Behind the Markets, a business consulting firm Shockwave Solutions, Grant Cardone's business 10X Advisor Network, and a few other projects here and there.
